rocket finance is back!

rocket finance is back from a long leave of absence due to many technical difficulties. I now know a great deal more about the internet, isp’s, php’s, dns, mysql’s and a whole host of other acronyms than I ever wanted to understand. Thanks to patient support from dreamhost and encouragement from Hustler and plonkee, I have finally made it back on line.

I look forward to publishing from a paid domain and furthering my journey on rocket finance. There are some things that I am disappointed about. First, I am not completely happy with my wordpress theme, but it is about the 50th one that I have tried, so I am going to live with it. I would definitely like to get my logo up on the site somewhere. I’ll figure it out eventually.

My biggest regret is that I was unable to import all of my posts from my old blog. For some reason, blogger is no longer allowing access to wordpress for this purpose. I really liked three or four of those posts. . . I will continue to work on my layout and format, but I hope to return to regular posting as well as learning from all of the other personal finance bloggers out there. -rocketc
