Another Possible Tax Hike
October 26th, 2007 | by rocketc |Here is one viewpoint of Charlie Rangel’s proposed tax legislation. When is the average United States voter going to realize that “rich” people don’t take money out of their pockets? Only the government does that.
I sure hope someone in Congress can make the tax cuts of 2001 and 2003 permanent. Our economy is in for a real nose-dive if that does not happen soon.

There is the argument that rich people are the ones in government so…
I’m not generally a fan of tax cuts or tax raises. Live within your means people in charge of democracies worldwide, and just spend the tax money wisely.

Yes, there are many rich people in government. However, in our country, many of them became rich after gaining office. I have no problem with those who became wealthy in the private sector and then decided to go into public service.
In capitalism, rich entrepreneurs make other people wealthy – as well as themselves.
