The Friday Stack: You can save some money in this post
by Rocket FinanceOn Tuesday, I participated in the 107th Festival of Frugality at Cash Money Life. Patrick was kind enough to accept my late entry. I deserved to be the very last entry on the page. . . and that’s the spot I got. Here are some of the highlights:
One of my favorite blogs, Digerati Life, posted about saving money on groceries. There are some really practical suggestions in her list and I need to remember to have Mrs. Rocket read through it. I’m sure it will save us some cash.
My Two Dollars explains why he rents. We own our house, but if we were able sell it for what we owe, we would become renters in a heartbeat.
Mrs. Micah recounts an inexpensive entertainment experience. I think that she and her husband would be very compatible with my wife and I when it comes to frugal vacation ideas. Sometimes I think Mrs. Rocket and I would enjoy staring at a field full of cows if it meant we were away from the kids.
Hustler tries to help you reduce your internet bill – won’t work for me, though. We are subject to a high speed internet monopoly in my town.
Some other posts of interest:
Credit cards are getting us out of debt.
Hope 2008 is off to a great start!

You’re always telling everyone else to have kids – do you just want us to commiserate in your misery 😉 ?
Anyway, I think there might be a problem with your MTD link, you might want to check it out.

Ha! nice catch, fixed now.
Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids and would not change having them for anything. They just make personal finance a bit more interesting.

Hey at least you made this edition! 😉
I thought it was a good article, location was entirely coincidental! 🙂

I’ll second that!
