This post was written last month over at FiveCentNickel, but I happened across it and found Nickel’s explanation of the Alternative Minimum Tax to be very informative.
Hustler wrote about Bank of America’s Keep the Change program. I have a checking account with BOA, but have not enrolled in KTC, yet. I’m still trying to figure out ways to buy things for $.01 or $1.01.
Free Money Finance writes about how those of you in the stock market should be buyers right now. I wish I had a little money to invest. I am young enough to (hopefully) out last any major economic downturn. It just seems like common sense that there might be bargains out there right now. (but don’t take my advice, read FMF)

Gibble at Gather Little by Little has a confession to make. I think it is important to point out that just because we blog about money, that does not mean that we don’t make mistakes like everyone else. Thank you for your candor, glblguy.

I’m sure I read that some mobile phone contracts let you switch a couple of times to a different plan – see what happens there.
Last year, I was in the same position. I love Orange, but you just can’t get the same cashback deals as an existing customer and still keep your number. Which is important to me. I switched to T-Mobile, but come June, I’m going to switch back – Orange is just better.

That sucks that you are tied to your number. The SERO plan really rocks! Have fun skiing… stay warm!!!!
