I wonder how many people have already “spent” their stimulus checks? I know a lot of people who spend money in anticipation of raises or bonuses – at times to their horror when the money does not appear or is much smaller than hoped for.

That was my long winded way of saying – Perhaps the checks have made an impact on the economy before even being sent or received.

I was thrilled to hear the news – I’m scheduled to get mine on the 9th also, and now that estimate has moved to the 5th from what I hear.

Not that the timeframe REALLY matters, but darnit, that check lets me finish paying my current credit card off! Now, now, NOW!
