Governments the world over are the same.

They take our money spend it on some program and by the time the official reports come and say they screwed up, another bunch have taken their place.

As a Malaysian I can only say thank God for the internet and the blogs. Now my politicians are a little more careful, just a wee little. Their shaky and very often shady decisions are now more likely to be out on some blog somewhere.

That’s the problem, i think they do . . . but a self-reliant population will not give more power to senators and presidents. We are slowly becoming more and more dependent on Washington D.C. and that’s the way they like it.
