SVB . . . you’re worried about man-made global warming? and you live in California? You have a whole list of far greater threats in that state.

I am all for being good stewards of our environment, but man-made GW is a ploy to destroy free markets. It would be great if a blogger of your stature were to do some investigation of both sides of the argument and then do a series of posts . . . I think you would quickly begin to have some doubts about who is telling the truth.

If global warming is a scam, I’m easily fooled because I buy into it. I buy into anything that threatens all of mankind — whether it be a pandemic, avian flu, SARs what not. Unfortunately, I’m the anxious type, but I worry over the weird, low probability stuff.

There is no doubt in my mind that you are right. The bad thing is that the majority of people do not believe in man-made global warming, but because of the way our government operates at the moment, all this stuff is going to get rammed through without a majority of people in support of cap and trade, etc.

I’m of the opinion that this “global warming” craze is the biggest scam ever. You look at the ones promoting huge legislation to “stop global warming” and it turns out they’re the same ones who will make all the money if that legislation passes.

Where’s the transparency?

As I frequently say on my blog, “follow the money and you’ll find the incentive”.
