$75 or $50 Bank of America Checking bonus

by Rocket Finance

I think that bank bonuses are heating up again. We have seen only a few cash incentives to open checking or savings accounts over the last 12 months. However, Chase recently came out with a limited $125 bonus for checking with direct deposit and now Bank of America is looking to get back into the game.

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that Chase posted a surprising profit in the first quarter of 2009. In fact, the bank is even thinking about paying back their TARP or federal bailout money. Seems like that money came with too many strings . . .

Anyway the $75 bonus is for BOA customers who already have a credit card with the company. As far as I can tell, this account does not require direct deposit. Here are the details of the deal and credit for this find goes to Hustlermoneyblog:

  • Deposit $125 into the account within 30 days.
  • The bonus should arrive in about 90 days – you might have to remind them about it.
  • This checking account is online.
  • Use Offer Code CH75OL1
  • Open your account here.

If you do not have a Bank of America credit card, you might still be able to qualify for this $50 bonus. My wife and I always like to earn a little extra bank bonus stimulus throughout the year.

New offers at recession time. I think most of the banks will try to diversify its products to reach more customers.
